Group Totals not matching duration

I’m having real difficulties with this.
For example, I have 5 activities in a group, the total duration from start to finish is 10 days and one hour, yet the Group Total shows 4days and 4 hours??
I have all the activities on the same calander....
??
HELP!

The Duration in Group band(summary duration) is calculated from Global default calendar and unit of time admin preference(ie 8h/d or 10/d). It starts from the earliest time in the group of activities. If hrs/day in user preference and default duration in admin preference are same as well as default Global calendar is same as activities calendar then you should not experience this problem.
