WBS- SUMMARY DURATION

EID MUBARAK TO ALL
does anybody know how primavera 6 calculate original duration for WBS- level when organizing activities by WBS
cause i have 12 W/ H calendar but primavera consider as 20 hours when calculating duration for wbs level
i don’t know why

at summary level, P6 uses global calendat to calculate duration.

Global calendar and project calendar need to be same to show matching figures

Hi Alaa,

Try to use WBS Summary as activity type for each WBS level or to the highest level.

With P6 v7, each calendar has its own "Time Periods" so you don’t have to worry.

Alaa,

This has always been an issue with P6, upto 6.2, and as Arniold states, v7 has its own time periods to correct this problem.
However, on versions prior to this, set your durations to hours and the issue will be resolved.

i change the default Global Calendar to match the project Calendar
and now it is ok
i don’t know what will we do without the best planner around the world on this Forum
