Delete Financial Periods - Future

We set up our Financial periods for 2010 as monthly at the beginning of the year. We wish to change the Financial periods from May forward to weekly or daily. I understand we need to delete the May - Dec periods and recreate, the problem we encountered is that we discovered that at least one of our projects had been storing period performance data in the future in error (May-Aug). We believe we have editted all the Financial period data fields in the future such that the amounts are 0, however we are still not able to delete the May-Aug periods as it claims there is still data in those fields. Are we missing something?

Oldest first- 0Richard Heimpel ·Rodel, the project is in a server base. I suspect we have SDK but never installed - I certainly have never used. We were thinking of exporting the file to a standalone (without defining financial periods)then delete the project in the server, re-adjust the financial periods then re-import the project back to the server. Then we should be able to store all of that projects actual data into the Apr month (which would not be a problem).

Financial Period that already created will not be deleted if data still there. You will end up of adding another Financial Period and xer don’t delete records even records are not present on the new xer.
