P6.1 Database or Files Location

Guys,

Just like to know where does P6 store all the project schedule being done. Just like to know where the files are located in the even we need to reformat a certain pc and all we need is the project files and not the P6 software datas/files.

Ruel,
For standalone installation by default P6 database should be found on C:\Program Files\MSSQL\Primavera\MSSQL.1\MSSQL\Data folder.

For Server installation it should be residing at MSSQL\Data by default unless the IT has changes the destination files.

Rodel,

Thank you for the prompt reply. Unfortunately we cannot access the folders, it must something to do with its intallation process or folder rights.

Ruel,
You must have admin rights to your PC in order to access those folders. Ask you IT to give you admin rights to your machine.
