Max Units/ Time

Dera All,

Can any body expain me the use of Max Units/Time Detail in the resources tab.
what role does it have in the resources levelling.

i am noticing that if i change the Max Units/Time then the over allocation is getting levelled.
Please help me to under stand this guys....

    Max units/time lists the selected resource’s availability, or the maximum amount of work units the selected resource can perform in a single work period, according to effective date.

    Satishan,
    the difference between max and default units/time is the overtime hours a resoruce can work.
