Budget At Completion in Projects View---Varying

Hello friends
I created a sample project in P6 with a Budgeted Total Cost of $230,500.
Now when I go to the Projects View (Enterprise -> Projects), the Budget At Completion is $230,500. Everything all right till here.
As soon as I close this project or open another project from the Project view, the Budget At Completion in the Project view (for the same sample project) changes from $230,500 to $180,500.
Any idea whats happening??

You may need to summarize your project. Some data (possibly all variable data) stored in the projects view is onlyaccurate against the current plan after the project is summarized.
I run a job service at 2am every night that summarizes my projects to ensure I see the latest info.
