Anybody please explain how to print a report on project % progress based on manpower

how can we calculate the sv based on manpower

    From Activity Usage Profile

    then graph - Options-calculate average -divide intervals total by (put total amount to get %)

    I have little doubts in making s-curve by the following steps

    1. assign a common resource to all activities

    2. est % wt to all activities

    3. top down estimation method

    4.monthly cumulative budget

    5. transfer to excel sheet

    can anybody help me on these things or send any pdf regarding this
