Unable to tick an activity as actual complete - anyone have a fix? database corrupted?

Strange occurance on a couple of activities - I have the activity at 100% but when I try to tick the actual finish check box it doesn't accept it?

never had this before!!1

    may be your actual finished

    may be your actual finished date is earlier that actual start date.
