P6 Calculation of actual units/costs

Can anyone out there explain why P6 (7.0) doesnt alway calculate actuals....?????

This is driving me crazy! 

Yes, auto compute actuals is ticked on and costs are calculated from Units

    Andy,did you tick Autocompute

    Andy,

    did you tick Autocompute Actuals at project level?

    check your resources, Autocompute should be ticked on there too

    I have every possible option of auto compute actuals turned on, both at activity level and resource level.

    Cannot find an option for this at project level.......
