Original Duration change equal to Remaining Duration???

Need help please....
Why is it that Original Duration in the Summary Level will change equal to Remaining Durationafter I update some activities???
Due to this reason my Duration % Complete in the Highest or Project Level will always be 0% since Duration % Complete is computed based in the formula D%= (Original Duration (Current Duration) - Remaining Duration / Original Duration (Current Duration) * 100.
