Showing the number of projects under each branch in P6 automaticly

in projects layout(Primavera6),where i used different codes in organization my projects,is there any way that i can show the number of projects under each branch(automaticly)?
I tried to use user defined fields (Integer) and give value =1 to each project , but P6 didnt summarize...
