P6 - Estimate To Complete

Hello

I am trying to use the Estimate to complete (ETC) as my Labor Units for my resource loading histograms.  However, when I go into my reports I am unable to create a report using ETC (only allows me to pick Remaining Units). 

 

Any suggestions?

    Correct me if I am wrong, but ETC is the estimated labor to complete the activity and is computed as either the remaining total labor for the activity (Remanining Total Labor), or as PF * (Budget at Completion - Earned Value Labor). Hence, the remaining units that is found in the report should correspond to that.

    Benjamin, I am trying to use

    Benjamin,

    I am trying to use unapproved PCN's & Productivity for the calculating my hours for my histograms.  However, I do not want to show this in my to Earn Budget (Will only Earn approved Scope). 

    What i was hoping on doing is the following - creating a baseline showing my unapproved budgets + approved Budgets (BAC), however my project Budgeted manhours would only include the approved budgets.

    Remaining would be Budget manhours - Actual units

    Whereas ETC = PF*(BAC-Earned Value)

    PF

    Earned Values = BAC*Phy%

     

    So I would want to show ETC values in my histogram instead of remaining Units.
