Hi,

Is it possible to lock a layout/settings to one project so that everytime that project opens the layout opens? The reason being I have 2 projects one is a target and one is a Project program. If I were able to lock the colors of the WBS then people would know whether the project is a target or a Project program.

If it is not directly possible then is there another way this can be done?

    Hello Mr. Kutty,

    As far as I know up to P6 version 7, this feature of locking a layout for a particular project is not available. The other way is to prepare separate layouts for your 'Target' and 'Project Programme' and save them under the respective projects. So, everytime once you open these projects you can go to the 'Layout' tab at the top of 'Activity Window' and change the layout respectiely.
