Activity ID

everything revolves around the actviity ID becasue everthing else is associated with it. It is a unique identifer and can not be duplicated. 

It is important to keep the activity id the same so that when you want to compare schedules you have a common demoniatior which is the activity ID. 

some people like to build intellegence into their activity ids

for example does B3A26100 mena anything to you ? Here is what it could mean

Electrical work (26 is the master specification of electrical work)

so just by looking at the activity ID I know what building i am working in

what level that I am working on

what area that I am workin in 

and I know who is doing the work.

you can also use this to filter and group and your activities

lets say I wanted to see all of the electrical work then my filter would be
