I have a suite of projects that is resource loaded with defined roles first and people filled in as resources once they are assigned.  I have a stacked histogram set up to show by resource and by role separately. Is there a way to combine that function in p6? I need to be able to choose a role and show that stacked histogram for say "engineers" and have the stack be bob, suzy, joe, fred, etc., excluding "project managers" and "designers", for instance.

    when you view the resource

when you view the resource usage profle NO  NOT select the role but the resource name. In the left portion of the resource usage profile you can group and sort on resouce NOT ROLE

I want to be able to filter

I want to be able to filter out the role and see a stacked histogram of people within that role/discipline.

Right now, I can see stacked histogram by role or stacked histogram by resource but I can't figure out how to filter if I need a certain role broken out by only the people assigned there.
