Unable to Import Excel file (.xlsx) in Primavera P6 Professional R16.2.0

I am trying to use a normal export and import function of P6. I exported the data into .xlsx format and I am trying to import the data back after minor edits , but its says "Process did not complete successfully. See log file for details" and the log shows as stated below:

ERROR: Failed to find a matching object for Activity Relationship

INFO: Deleting Unreferenced Data...
 
Any one has a way around ?

    Are you sure that primavera

    Are you sure that primavera can import and export now by using files of extension .xlsx instead of .xls or in addition to them.

    Try again by using .xls files instead of .xlsx files.
