I am trying to export the entire cost account ID into excel. It appears as if primavera only takes the end value of the ID. So if I have a cost acount ID 00A.01 it will only export 01. Is there any way around this?

    I checked the admin

I checked the admin preferences and both items you specified were set to the maximum. Also, I am using version 7.0.

    I have a few versions of P6

I have a few versions of P6 on different machines, but none as old as 7.0

I would advise downloading an evaluation of version 18 PPM, and checking it with an import of your project.

Yes. The cost account ID only

Yes. The cost account ID only exports the end value so 316.0.10.4 will only export .4 I dont know how to format the cost account ID to get a successful re-import. I am exporting to excel.

you can try report. * create

    you can try report.

    * create a "activity resource and role assignments" report to include the cost account column

    * run the report and save to an ASCII Text File

    * import the file into Excel
