Doubt in Duration

Helo All,

What error am I doing.

 

The below pic shows the duration of the activity and WBS

  WBS Total570
PrimaveraStart Finish 
Activity A13-Apr-2329-May-2330
Activity B30-May-232-Aug-242954
Activity C3-Aug-2416-Sep-2445

 

But the same thing if I put it in excel gives me this duration.

ExcelStart Finish 
Activity A13-Apr-2329-May-2347
Activity B30-May-232-Aug-24431
Activity C3-Aug-2416-Sep-2445
  Excel Total523

I would like to show the excel duration in the schedule 

 

The calendar for 1st activity = 8 Hrs X 5 Days and the other 2 activity = 8 Hrs X 7 Days

Please guide me.

    Hi All, The default calendar

    Hi All,

     

    The default calendar for the Project was a 24 Hr calendar but when I changed that to 8 Hrs x 7 Days it started showing like the excel table.

     

    So why is it like that?

    because the schedule is based

    because the schedule is based on 8 hours per day based on the calendar

    excel does not consider TIMES it is just a day for day calculation

    P6 uses times in the background
