what is weighting factor in control project and measurment progress of project.

    There is no standard on this one. Some may by the value of works, some may by urgency.

    Agree there is not a standard.
    You can use costs, man-hours, as urgency.
    Some are more objective parameters other need an experienced evaluation.
    In any case in a schedule try to be consistent, if You start in a way, go on with that one. Or You will start to loose control (will be difficult to intrepretate for You and Your management) of the results.
