Producing Volumetrics

Hi guys,
I am a planner and need some help on how to produce a volumetric report. I have collated the information i need using Microsoft Excel, but I need to input it into p6 without affecting the main program and then export it back into excel.
Would appreciate any immediate repsonse and help.
