User Defined Field Global Change

We have created an User Defined filed to unclude Cable Numbers in our schedule, eg. 10CVB1001BTBV, 14BFB1001HTBV, 12CVB7001BQBV, etc. We want to change the first digit in the number from 1 to 2. It is approximetely 16000 activites. Is it possible through a Global Change or by any other means?
