Resources Assignment

I am trying to assign resources to the activities but every time i do that, budgeted unit changes automatically.
 
I checked my calendar, it is set on the exact requirement, but still the same issue.

Can anyone help?

    make sure that you duration

    make sure that you duration type is fixed duration and units/time add a column and do the 1st one and then do a fill down

    next go to Projectsand in the Default tab make sure that you duration type is fixed duration and units/time
