P3 Compatability with Windows XP

Hello,
I got a new laptop with windows XP instaled on it - but now my P3 can not run any more - what can I do to make it work again?
I downloaded the service pack from the primavera site but Im not sure if this may solve the problem and if it may - where should I install the service pack inorder for P3 to identify and use it?

    I meant to add that my P3 is version 3.0 and Im getting an automatic message when I click it on : "P3 registration can not be validated" and under details : network drivers appear to not be serving this directory"- any ideas on what should I do to fix it?

    Make sure the winXP loginID have local administration access right.

    Hi Forum Guest,

    Make sure you get ver 3.1 as 3.0 will not run on new Win OS versions.

    Also, please sign your name next time or better yet, register. Id like to know who Im providing assistance to.
