adding RES BQ related to another RES

hello.

I would like to add a resource as a percentage of another resource.

currently I use:

if RES EQ RES01
then RES EQ RES02
BQ EQ BQ * 0.2

then I reimport the original resources.

I have tried:

if RES EQ RES01
then RES AD RES02
BQ EQ BQ * 0.2

but the resource isnt transferred fromt the if clause to the then clause. thus I get a zero as BQ.

I have tried:

if RES EQ RES01
&A EQ BQ
then RES AD RES02
BQ EQ &A * 0.2

its a good idea. but temp values do not cross clauses I understand.

any way to transfer a BQ of a resource to another resource with global change?

yes I know I can export, change and reimport.
thank you.

readding the RES could solve the prob.
    thus:

    if RES EQ RES01
    then RES EQ RES02 ’NEW
&A EQ BQ ’BQ in memory. may need to change places with upper line
BQ EQ &A * 0.2 ’BQ of new RES
RES EQ RES01 ’readd original RES
BQ EQ &A ’readd original BQ

but this needs the extra line to add the BQ back. and its not there. boy do I miss the macro functions of Excel. ;)

    c the prob?

    This does not work either.

    IF RES EQ RES01
    THEN RES EQ RES02
    BQ EQ BQ * 0.2
    RES AD RES01
    BQ EQ BQ / 0.2

second BQ stays equal to zero
