a) create resources in Data, Resources
b) open the activity form at the bottom of the scree, then click the RES button to open the Resource sub-form
c) select the 1st activity to which assign a ressource
d) click in the 1st avaliable column in the RES sub-form, select the resource from the drop-down list, enter either Budgeted Quantity or Units per Day
