P3 programme transfering

Hi all,

I have a plan programme in P3 with a data date of 26 Nov 08, And it is revised with some sub sections as WBS. And I have one more same plan with the data date of 10 Dec 08 Which I normally update for the progress. I want to transfer the revised plan (26th Nov 08) as the latest plan into 11th Dec 08 as the data date.

Plz advise me for the same.

    Dear Maask Kharadi,

    I am not getting you properly. If you want to transfer the updation, then follow as mentioned below.

    If you have the same activity id in both the program, then you can export the updated program with the details viz., Activity id,Actual dates & percentage complete, then import it in the program in which you need the update.

    Let me tell U the actual,

    U understood my problem I have added the few new activities in the new plan. So how to do that.

    Dear Maask,

    Don’t worry. All new activities if anything is there will be added while importing. Better export the activity description also. so that you it can be imported. otherwise Description will be blank.
