I would like to seek for assistance. I have created a schedule but my boss ask me to prepare a one-month ahead schedule from the original schedule I have created to be provided to subcontractors. My problem is I have tried to do it using global change but everytime I press F9 it returns to original schedule I have created not making it one-month ahead. I have also tried to change the start date from project overview but nothing happens. The schedule have some constraint dates. Thank you very much!

    Ernani,
what does your global change say? and where does it store its results?
you say you have date constraints in your schedule: are they "Early" or "Late" constraints?
The most simple way to get what your boss is asking for is to change the data date and run schedule (F9); then you would copy your project under another name. However, the constraints could not allow the software to freely calculate the new dates.
Therefore you will have to update the constraint dates also, either by hand or by using global change.
"Schedule" (F9) always calculates the schedule at the data date; that means that changing the project start date without changing the data date will have no effect.

    Alexandre,

Thank you very much for your response, I have done your second suggestion & it works! If possible because I am not yet very familiar using global change, can you send me a tutorial or some useful information with global change. My email address is ernan0518@gmail.com

    Thank you very much!

    Regards,
    Ernani
