Link remaining duration and schedule percent complete problem

Dear Freinds
I have a schedule an auto cost rule linke remaining duration and schedule percent complete is unchecked and the schedule culcuates all value based on this situation when i change this (check the box) the remaining duration and pecent complete remain unliked unless i change one of them manually.
How can i recuculate remaing durations based on the percent complete for all activities in the schedule
please advise

Try running a global change
Try running a global change after backing up you project.
The option only works when you change data not when you turn oin and off the option.
