save as a baseline

hi all

i am using MSP 2007.

when i make a plan and save it it does not shows the option of saving it as a base line.
one more question how to track a project on a particular date i am not getting any ideas.

the answer is required on an urgent basis plz

    Go to Tools, then to Tracking and then to Set The Baseline
