Printing Preferences Ignored

Can anyone help?

After working for some time in a project does anyone know why when you print preview MSP decides that it want to ignore the date range or "print to 1 page wide" setting that you ask for and throws an extra blank page column in just for fun???

I’ve asked some of the guys in our office and nobody seems to have had this issue previously. Is it just a bug in MSP?

    It’s not something as simple as adjusting the View tab check box settings on the Page Setup dialog box is it?

    Guys,
    it is a well known bug in MSP, that appeared years ago with MSP 98; there is lamost nothnig you can do to avoid it, except wasting your time at setting the printing scaling smaller and smaller
