Importing P 3.1 (prx.) file to P6.1 (xer.)

Dear all,

Can we import P3.1 (prx.) file to P6.1 without P3.1 installed on our desktop.

I have P6.1 installed on my PC but i get schedules from contractors in prx format. i am facing difficulty in importing.

CAN ANYBODY HELP.

    Dear abdul khadeer,

    you don’t need to install p3.1 in your system,,just click on the PRX file to extract it and then go to p6 directly -File menu-import-- choose import from p3

    CHANGE extension from prx to exe and then extract it

    fllow import wizard in p6

    i got the following error message.

    Type : EOleException

    Event Code : EUERB-2819-3

    Error : Unknown error reported by P3 Engine

    Any solutions Please.
