Hai
I Updated my program as of 6 march&I Schedule it.After Scheduling i saw the Early Start&Early Finsh of Activity 100% Completed & In progress is Calculated From the Data Date, because of it my Successor of the above activity are Getting Delay
I want the Early Start & Early Finish to show me The actcal Dates if its Stated , so that my Successor Activity dates will not get affect.
Is there Any Way to Fix It
Example
Activity ID OD Early start Early Fin Start Finish      %
A23R1SA01 22 6-Mar-10 6-Mar-10 14-Feb-10A 2-Mar-10A     100%
A23R1SA02 38 6-Mar-10 9-Mar-10 02-Mar-10A 9-Mar-10     90%

Most likely Activity A23R1SA01 has a predecessor which is not yet complete, ie you have out of sequence working.

    2 options:
    1) Correct the logic to show the true sequence (best practise)
    2) Go to tools, schedule, schedule options, and select "progress overide" instead of "retained logic" (easiest)

    Dear Gary,

    Thanks for the reply...

I used the first option.I changed the relationship and submitted the report.

My Client is not allowing to schedule with the second option.

Is there any other way other than adjusting the out of sequence activities.(but not using project override).

    With Thanks & Regards,

Option 1 is the best solution. THAT’S PLANNING WORK......Avoid shortcuts.
