Quick Costing

I was just asked my a fellow colleauge if there is another way of budget costing insted of going into each avitiy and entering the costs manually, all the cost are of different value so cant globally do them, please help.

    The correct procedure in P6 is not entering cost manually. It should be based on resources rates. For quick Costing you can use Top Down Estimation function of P6. It can distribute by weight of WBS and or Activities or durations which ever is appropriate for you to use.

    I know but were on a NEC Contract different way of costing,
    Thanks for this i havent used the Top down Estimation before but am definantly goign to teach myself how to do it,
