Dear All;

It’s the time to think about how we can organize some “Online Training Courses” in this site?
There are lots of qualified members and/or agencies who can share their knowledge with other members.
Let’s think more about this issue.

Thanks,
Ali Vessali

    Dear All,

    How about starting off with different levels? I would suggest basic level with terms definitions, eg. CPM, EVPM...etc. Secondary level could consist of generic methology of scheduling method. Novice level could be a pool (database) of specific job/project planning, eg. High Rise Commercial Buildings, Railway, Process Plant... etc.

    Best regards.

    There are many online training courses available by various providers. In my experience thay have one thing in common - you pay for the training !

    What about inviting Primavera and MS project to contribute an online module per month on a chosen topic. Great ad for them. Free for PP users. Way less effort for the PP devlopment team.

    If this is successful, think of ways to extend, guest modules written by experts, etc.

    YA. This is a great idea. How can we proceed on it? Lets try to have a broad out line for the forward path.

    We recently published a Turnaround Project Planning Primer - a free, abridged version of one of the manuals bundled with our ATC Professional project management software. This planning primer is applicable to industrial plant maintenance projects (shutdowns / turnarounds). Enjoy!

    P.S. Weve also published Turnaround Project Management Primer - a companion document discussing management issues for industrial plant turnarounds.
