Could you be a bit more specific on type of project?
1) Not every project fits into the "typical" category, road construction and boiler installation are two different animals.
2) Project reporting and control procedures vary from company to company *oh to have a standard operating procedure*, and from client to client.
3) The procurement and engineering phase can be quite different as well, some projects require materials that may be readily available thereby cutting times and resources required considerably. Some of my projects required a 2 year lead time just on manufacture of certain equipment. - 0PHPeter Holroyd ·Most Company’s have a series of Standard Operating Procedures (SoP’s) which cover the fundamentals of this work. The individual Project Quality Plan specifies which procedures are applicable on the project and if the SoP needs ammending it becomes a project specific procedure.
