I would like to know why electromechincal E&M works are named as MEP not as EM

Its other way round Shahul,

Plumbing works are carried by the same E&M Contractor and thats why the name MEP.

But it’s like a slang to use, Electromechanical instead of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing
