Hi, If any uses Excel utility programs under P3 before. Actualy I am facing troubles using these files(such as Project.xls & predsuc.xls..etc.). some of the files are working only with APEX program ,I have tried to transfer my projects to the default directory C:\P3win\Projects.some of the files start to work good such as predsuc.xls other's are not working even with the default directroy. any advice will be appreciated Thanks Ali

    let me have some further inf. which version of p3? operating system?

    Hi Mohd, go to any version of P3, in your cd, you will find a directory it is nam c:\\utill there u will find some excel sheets, try them then till me what u find. Regards Ali ------------------------

    pls answer my questions, if u r looking for an explanation to the problem u r facing. i did not ask where to find, pls reread my questions. excel utilities (macros) have been exposed to changes, from version to another of P3 ie, there're 3 or more versions of those excel macros. they started those macros since P3 ver2 if u have seen its cd. regards, mohd

    Hi Mohd, thanks for the reply, Actualy, I am working in P3,ver 3.But I have loaded the Exel utilites from the CD of Ver.2 is this make the difference/or is this is the only problem? Best Regards Ali ------------------------------------------

    Yes. it is better not to use the utilities of ver2. they require dll, ocx files, which are not available with the standard windows or office installation. we used to get them from Primavera. i checked it now, utilities of P3 ver 3 or 3.1 with office 2k and win98 or win Me, will have no problem. u will be able to exchange data with any project, with no problem. let me know pls, if u can't find them. good luck. mohd
