I fully understand that this is totally the wrong place to post such a question, please accept my apologies before I begin.
Does anyone know or has anyone themselves, moved from the UK to Western Australia for a Planning role? I would very much like some advise on rates and potential salaries.
Once again, sorry for posting this here, I very much appreciate any help anyone could be.
Regards
Jon

    Hi Jon,

As a current contract planner in Oil and Gas Industry I can tell you now is the time to move to WA. I know of at least 3-4 current vacancies for a multi-billion dollar project; pay would be around the $75 - $130 (Aus) per hour; and a staff poistion for an Oil and Gas contractor paying $120K + (AUS; more if you have more than 5 years experience.

If you need more information email me : kevin.matthews@mustangeng.com.au

Basically WA is going through a boom for Oil and Gas and mining and there ain’t enough planners to go round...just the way we like it.
