Exporting & Importing Data from Excel 2007 to P3

Can someone help me import data from Excel 2007.

With Excel 2003 I used to DBF or WK1, WKs export and imprted the same way.

Unfortunately Excel 2007 does not support these formats but I can export in ASCII format from P3 and once modified save as a text file.

Why does P3 allow ASCII, DBF, WK1 & WKS export but only DBF, WK1 & WKS import.

Don’t tell me to buy Open Office or keep a copy of Excel 2003 as IT won’t allow it.

    Ashley,
    You simply cannot use P3 on the same machine as MS Office 2007; sorry for your IT people
    Microsoft and Primavera disagree and they force you to stick with MS Office 2003.

    afaik, openoffice is free, no need to buy it
