Hi ALL,
While doing the Delay Analysis how we distinguish between the followings,
1- As-Impacted Plan Method.
2-As built Method.
3As Built Collapse method.
Further more what exactly we mean by AS BUILT PROGRAM.Can we do the As built program at any point during the course of execution OR only after the completion of the project.

Which way of doing Delay Analysis is most preferred .
i WILL REALLY APPRECIATE ALL OF FOR ASSISTANCE IN THIS REGARD
THANKS

As-Imacted Plan is basically changed baseline. While making the original baseline, you have not thought about that particular "event" or "incident" or "activity". The As Impacted Plan is a What if plan what if you knew about that event at the time of original baseline.

As built programme - as the name suggests is record of actual events and progress. This programme progresses as the project goes ahead. Any updated programme is an as built programme up to that date.

There are various ways to calculate delay. One would be variation from baseline to as built (which is is the total delay). Variation from baseline to as impacted (delay due to particular event). etc.
