D&B Contract.(JCT) Responsibilities

Hi,
In a Design & Build Contract (JCT).
Employer awarded contract to main contractor with the architect also passed to the contractor.
Initially, there was an Employer requirements.
The MC submitted their proposal with bid and successful.
Say: a development of 3&4 storeys apartment with a communial area, external landscape.
Post award:
There are only drawings but not detailed.
Firstly, can someone who is familiar with D&B Contract enlighten me as to the steps/procedure that a norm contract of this kind should commence.
Assume I am working in the MC site team.
Maybe a senior Project Manager/Director can contribute as to how to resource this Contract & the level or line of responsibilities.
