( Your System is Out of Memory, Please Close Other

Running Applications and try this Operation Again) .

I tried without any addvantage to Off & On the System many

times without solution,

Finally I Uninstall and then Reinstalled it again to let

it work. My Enquiry What is the cause and how to Prevent

it from Doing the same another time ???

P6 requires 2Gb of dedicated ram to work efficiently.

Actually 1 GB is enough and when you’ve Primavera web application also then it is recommended to have 2 GB. Better contact Primavera for this problem and solution

    Hi Riad,
We run P6 on a large network, and I mean large, we have had this error occur, and found it was to do with write access and space available on the "C:" drive (server based) available to Primavera.

Our database and server guys gave it a bit more authority and increased the space available and the problem resolved itself.

    Regards,

    Hi Riad,

I have had this error a few times running P6 as stand-alone.

It only occurred when I had been working on a large project (it involves me have 46 programmes open at once) and I didn’t "Close All" before I shut down P6 (it was trying to open all of the programmes at once on start up).

This has happened on my laptop and desktop machines (2Gb and 8Gb of memory respectively).

I simply clicked my way through the error messages and eventually got into P6 and everything worked ok.

I don’t know if that is any help to you but it is the only situation where I have seen this error occur.

    Hi Ben,

I have upgraded my Pc upto 2GB of memory, then uninstall and reinstalled P6 again.... since then I do not have that error.

Incase it happens (wish not) then I will follow your way.

    cheers
