Good day to all planner

I face problem while importing resources to activities using primavera p6 . please can you tell me how to import resources to activities

Example let us say we have 1000 activity and 20 different resources of course not all activities have same resources Id & quantity so every activity has resources ID and quantity different than other activities

So how we can assign resources & unit quantity by importing excel file to p6

    Hi Alaa,

    Assign first the resources into your activities in Primavera window. When done, export the activities with Resource ID to Excel.

    In Excel sheet you can assign the quantity by using the vlookup function with a Lookup_value equal to your Activity ID.

    I try this solution but the problem is I have 3000 activities and I can’t assign resources to all activities in primavera (it will take me very long time) so I just want to ask if it is possible to export activities and resources as table (matrix)

    THIS IS ASAMPLE OF WHAT I WANT THE PRIMAVERA to DO (OF COURSE AFTER CREATING RESOURCES IDs
