Login error in P6

In the Open Standard

When i log in to primavera P6, i get the following error

"The database has not been configured to run background jobs.To correct this problem, please contact your system administrator or see the primavera system administrator’s guide: Last system monitor job run 27 Nov 2009:12:41:16:000, Last data monitor job run 27 Nov 2009:12:41:17:000"

Can some one please help me out on this

Hi Sajid,

You can just select the OK button and Primavera window will open for you. It is okey, as far as I know, there is nothing wrong with that.

thanks but there is another one another

when i goto import, import from "Primavera Project Planner (P3)" is disabled

How do i enable it?

I don’t know why is this happening. But in my case, I didn’t encounter this kind of dilemma.

i have checked the link and installed p3 and checked again. its still not working.

I dont understand it at all!

maybe i should try to restart the machine a couple of times and check again.

it ultimately worked when i reran the p6 setup and then restarted the computer.
