Export / Import the links in P6??

Yes it’s possible as long as you have same activity id. I have done that before and it works using export/import spreadsheet (xls)-> Activity Relationship.

You really make my day, will give a shot. yeah sure I’ve same activity id and just wanna to confirm it would replace the existing links right? no double links?

To readers I propose you all to come out with back up file first. Try to play safe.

It will not replace or update the existing link so below is the steps that you need to do.

1)     Export the Activity Relationship to spreadsheet (xls).
2)     On the last column of the spreadsheet stating delete this row enter letter D on all existing relationship.
3)     At the last row add your new relationship data.
That should do the trick.

Note: If your data is on the other export file. Import first the exported file with the D on the delete column to delete the existing relationship then use the other exported file and do the import.
