While importing a program from one stand alone System to another system, we identified some unusal asterisk in some of the start and finish dates of activities and open end in some activities also.These asterisk and open end was not there in the original program. Kindly advice how to over come this problem.

    While importing the p6 Program, layout, and calendar, like

    related to Program sporting thing u can import after u wile

    get same as old program in any using that program,

    This is suggestion only

    Possible you old program have external link to another project which is not present on your new system.

    How did you know that there is no external links? You can check the XER if more than one project stated then it has external links. You will not notice it to old system if not using inteligent activity id to identify project to project. It is worth of checking and it may help.
    Having * on date it means it has constrain.

    Thanks for the Information, however we contacted the authorised primavera dealer to fix the issue.

    I have problem in importing xer p6 file.

    Error occur "CVRCU-1939-9  Default value  provided for field ev_compute_type is not valid"

    and what did the authorized

    and what did the authorized primavera dealer tell you that the problem was.
