8.2 XLS Import Error

I get this error when I try to import an XLS into 8.2 Professional Client: 

 
ERROR: control_updates_flag is null for TASK ActivityID: 1.1A
 
It seems that this field  is an indicator that determines whether the activity status updates made in Team Member applications are approved before commiting changes. 
 
Is this a new required field in 8.2?
 
How do I set it?

    I put in some time researching the issue and found the answer.
     
    Because of a bug in the code, the ability to import XLS to add new activities will fail with ERROR: control_updates_flag is null for TASK ActivityID: XXX. This is outlined in Bug 13842293 - CANNOT IMPORT XLS INTO P6 R8.2
