Planned start & Finish change

Dear friends,
Activity 1 ---FS---- Activity 2
Activity 1 - Start date 25 jul-2012
Finish Date 16-aug-2012
Later i clicked the check box for Actual start date - 29-jul-2012 and Actual Finish date as 31-aug-2012
Activity 2 - Planned start is 17aug-2012
Planned Finish is 21-sep-2012
Actual start is 1-sep-2012
Actual finish is 23-oct-2012
Now i scehduled today(08-nov-2012), and added column Planned start & Finish and Actual start & finish. The dates under Actuals are same as i entered. But the dates under Planned start was completely different.
And also Activity 1 is not FS relationship with Activity 2. am really confused and dont know what to do.
Experts kindly help me.
