WBS not in correct hierarchy order after MSP import

Hi all,

I am currently collecting vendor plans which are mostly in MSP. I have have saved them as a XML and imported them into P6. However, for some reason the WBS heirarchy is being reordered in P6 which is effecting the activities view.

For example in the WBS it is ordered as 

WBS CodeWBS Name
ABC.2 
ABC.2.2 
ABC.2.1 
ABC.4 
ABC.4.2 
ABC.4.1 
ABC.3 


Obvisouly I can manually do this but it is very time consuming as I'm currently collating 30-40 plans and some will have to be re-imported as I improve the vendor plans. 

I have never run into this before and tried looking at the import template but I can't see anything that might cause this. Also, I have not used my current employers P6 to import XML's before (I have previously used my own), so I'm not sure if it is something they have done that is causing this.

I hope someone can help with this. Thanks in advance.

    Unfortunatly I can't. I'm using MSP 2010 and Googling the file type it says it was discontinued in MSP 2000. I don't have the option to save as MPX
