I intent to produce report for each trade progress
exp:
Planned% Actual% Slippage
Earth work ----- ----- ----

Concrete work ----- ------ ----

Finishing work ----- ------ ----

If you set up a new export file, then filter your selection and use the target % complete and actual % complete. run this and you will get the results required.

Why you want to export the activity.
You can do from Schedule itself ,Create column Planned % ( Baseline at datadate -Updated % ) Actual% (% completion ) in schedule Itself . Take Print out, If you don’t want Bar chart ,Tick off the Option.
You can summarised this Schedule as report. I don’t think any problem.

It is simple, create a resource code for each trade, and add the resources to the program, eg Resource CONC is concrete work, FINI is finishes etc. Then run s-curves for each resource, this will give you what you need.

your answer open the thought, but still if you would elaborate with example and how can open the code from the p3 etc will be more helpful
